This hole is not only visually breathtaking, but also in a class of its own from a strategic point of view.

Long hitters only have a chance to reach the green with the second shot if they cut across the diagonally situated chain of bunkers as much as possible when teeing off (the so-called bite-off).

If the green is actually to be reached with the second stroke after a perfect tee off, the stroke should not be pulled to the right at all. The safe and more successful option would be to play along the middle of the course.

Shorter players will also safely reach their target by avoiding the obstacles in this way.
