Minimum Handicap Course, five days, based on German Golf Association rules

This course is suitable for those interested in golf who have some golfing skills. The purpose of this course is to learn the basics of golf and to gain thorough insight into the rules and etiquette of golf. At the end of the course, students take a test based on DGV rules. The course divided up into the falling sections:

Details / Information on Exercises:

• Instruction on hitting techniques (teeing, chipping, putting), code of conduct during matches
• The best six holes on a 9 hole course are analysed and each student must score 12 stableford points over 54 holes (requirement)
• The theory test takes about ½ hour. During this time you have to answer 15 questions on rules, 12 questions on etiquette and two general questions.
• The test adheres to DGV (German Golf Association) regulations, and you may use a book of rules as a reference work.

Duration of course is 5 days and divided as follows:   

• Day 1 – 3: three exercises/drills per day *
• Day  4 - 5: seven exercises/drills per day *

• The minimum handicap test is based on the regulations of the German Golf Association and takes about 3 hours.
• Instructor is a certified PGA golf teacher  
• Minimum of two participants, maximum of four
• During the lessons students are lent a set of clubs, unlimited number of practice balls. In addition, they are given six golf balls and proper tees so they can play on the practice holes.
• On the first day of lessons, students are given a rule book and a golf glove
• Free use of the practice facilities, such as the driving range, putting green and pitching area
• Limitless golf on the practice hole
• Participation in prescribed lessons is obligatory.

Fee: 440.00 € **/Person

Students are given a certificate signed by the golf school and club president to prove that they have passed the minimum handicap test.
